[ GM Xan Krieger ] This should have been posted long ago, but the Kingdom of Valar project is officially closed. The site will remain in memory of all the great people that graced us with their presence. I'm proud to have worked with all the staff here and I'm glad to have been a part of such a great community. Even the griefing brazillian plague is but a fond memory now. I wish you all well in your travels, and this site will remain as a meeting place for all those, young and old, newbie and established community member alike to come and talk. The server still remains intact, all accounts, all items, all spawns. The dedicated hardware will more then likely remain that way, if not, it will just get upgrades as it continues to be a personal platform of mine. The shard itself was on its own dedicated hard drive that will forever remain intact. There are also a few backups of the shard as well to ensure that data remains protected.

[UPDATE] Since I am monitoring the site a lot more frequently due to other projects, I am reopening access to the forums for posting and registration. It will be heavily moderated to keep the spam down, but I enjoy to hear from anyone out there that is still interested in the KoV Project. Please note that this is not to say that the shard is opening again, it's just the forums. Application requests will more than likely go unanswered.
